I can't believe my little boy is 2. He's so precious to me and will always be my baby no matter how big he grows. This year for his birthday we went up to Cedar city to see the fall leaves and celebrate with Trevor's family that still live there. It was so relaxing and fun to take a weekend off and do something as a family. Daven loves Elmo right now so I made him an elmo cake that he demolished more than ate. We had some close friends come and celebrate with us and it was fun to have all their kids there too.

What we've been up to
It was so hot I couldn't wait for the second half of the parade which was a giant water fight. We were lucky enough to sit by the guy with the pressure hose.
A sprinkler head busted out in front of our old apartment and we went out to play in it. It was shooting about as high as the palm tree

It's a Girl
We just had our ultrasound today and found out we're having a little girl, most likely. We are so excited to have her come into our family. I think Daven will like having a lil sister. He always plays with all the little girls when we run into them. He keeps saying Baby all the time. I'm not sure why because we never really told him about it. I think he just knows. The due date is earlier than we thought, but Daven measured a week and a half bigger and was born on the later due date. Looks like November 14. Initial guess was nov 25. I'm not really sure how that changes. Trevor has some names picked out like mayflower or stuffing, I think pocahontas isn't so bad.

This is how we know he's Trevor's son
This week has been super stressful for me and I know when its been stressful for Trevor because I catch him chewing on his shirt whenever he's either not thinking or thinking too hard. This week he's had to use his brain to it's Max trying to study for his final exams of the year. I'm so proud of him and I know all of his hard work will pay off, but right now I just can't wait til its over.
I sometimes catch Daven chewing on his shirt just like his daddy. I know it's a weird habit but its so cute

If Daven could get me a mother's day gift...
These are the prints
You’ve often seen before,
On the kitchen wall
And the bathroom door,
Those you quickly washed away,
These you’ll save for a future day.
For they will remind you
When I’m big and tall
That once I was little
And my hands were small.
Happy Mother’s Day Mommy, I love you!
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there
holi moli we need to catch up
So one family night we chalked up our balcony cement, Daven' just crawled over all the colors, by the time we were done he had a diaper completely covered in chalk and a mom that painted his face and body with the dust from the chalk. It doesn't rain enough in Nevada so the chalk is still there even after a couple of weeks. This is funny because my sisters went to some festival where people were throwing colored bags of dust at each other and came home looking like Daven did.

Daven's great grandparents just became shepherds. They've bought a couple of lambs to ... well I don't know why. They seem like they are more needy than newborn babies. But they were super fun to see at easter time. Daven stuck out his finger and they sucked on it. eww.

Trevor had some time to go snowboard with his brother and my dad during the passover break at Touro.
Daven loves wind now and its been super windy here during most of April. I love this picture even though Daven has a finger growing out of his chest.

Easter

So Daven had a pretty fun Easter with my side of the family. It's been a while since I've colored eggs with my family. It's been a traditon in my family that we all had a dozen eggs to dye ourselves, I love it. But for the past couple of years I've still dyed my dozen while I made Trevor at least dye one. Daven liked picking up the eggs and shaking them but once the candy fell out I kind of freaked out he still can't do jelly beans or unwrap foil so you can see why. As for egg dying he pretty much killed the egg when he tried. he did a pretty good job of devouring the egg. Of course, I peeled it. I'm pretty proud of how weird I look in most of the pictures I have of myself. Well hope you guys had a great Easter!
